Our Commitment to Responsible Gaming
At JLevo, responsible gaming is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every Filipino player deserves a gaming experience that's genuinely enjoyable — and that means making sure it stays in its proper place as entertainment, not something that takes over your life.
We know that most players who choose JLevo for their basketball betting, slots, card games, or Tongits sessions are here for the thrill and the fun. But we also understand that for some players, gaming can become a problem. That's why we've built a full suite of responsible gaming tools directly into our platform, and why we take proactive steps to identify and support players who may need help.
JLevo operates under Philippine gaming regulations that include mandatory responsible gaming requirements. But beyond legal compliance, this is something we genuinely care about. Our goal is for you to still be enjoying JLevo years from now — and that only happens if you play responsibly.
Remember: Gaming should always come from your entertainment budget — money you can afford to lose. It is never a way to earn income or solve financial problems. Kung nararamdaman mong lumagpas na ito sa entertainment, please reach out for help.
JLevo champions responsible gaming across the Philippines — because a safe player is a happy player.
What Is Responsible Gaming?
Responsible gaming means making informed, deliberate choices about how, when, and how much you gamble. It's about staying in control so that gaming remains a positive part of your leisure time rather than something that negatively impacts your finances, relationships, or mental health.
Responsible gaming isn't about never losing or always winning. It's about understanding the risks, setting limits before you start, and sticking to those limits no matter what. Here's what responsible gaming looks like in practice:
- You decide in advance how much money and time you'll spend — and you stick to it.
- You treat any money you spend on gaming as the cost of entertainment, not an investment.
- You never chase losses by increasing your bets to try and win back what you've lost.
- You take regular breaks and balance gaming with other activities and social time.
- You never gamble when you're stressed, emotional, or under the influence of alcohol.
- You're honest with yourself about whether gaming is staying fun or becoming a problem.
JLevo is committed to making responsible gaming easy and accessible. Our platform is built so that setting limits and taking breaks takes only a few seconds — because we want those tools to actually get used.
Your Responsible Gaming Control Tools
JLevo gives every registered player direct access to a range of tools designed to help you stay in control of your gaming. These tools are available 24/7 through your account settings, and most take effect immediately once set.
Pro tip: Set your deposit and loss limits when you first register — before you're in the middle of a session and the excitement kicks in. Limits set ahead of time are much easier to stick to. Decreasing a limit takes effect immediately; increasing one has a mandatory 7-day cooling-off period.
Smart players use JLevo's built-in tools to keep gaming fun and sulit — always within their means.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
Problem gambling doesn't always announce itself loudly. It often starts small and builds gradually. Knowing the warning signs — whether for yourself or someone you care about — is the first step toward getting things back on track.
Financial Warning Signs
- Spending more than you planned, or more than you can afford
- Borrowing money from family, friends, or loan apps to fund gaming
- Selling personal belongings to get money for gambling
- Neglecting bills, rent, or basic necessities because of gaming expenses
- Chasing losses — placing bigger bets to try to win back what you've lost
Emotional & Behavioural Warning Signs
- Feeling anxious, restless, or irritable when you can't gamble
- Gaming to escape stress, depression, loneliness, or other emotional difficulties
- Lying to family members or friends about how much time or money you spend gaming
- Neglecting work, studies, or family responsibilities because of gaming
- Failed repeated attempts to cut back or stop
- Feeling a need to gamble with increasing amounts of money to get the same excitement
If any of these sound familiar, please know that you're not alone and there is help available. JLevo encourages you to use our self-exclusion tools and reach out for professional support. Gaming problems are treatable, and many Filipinos have successfully overcome them.
Quick Self-Assessment
Answer these questions honestly. If you find yourself saying "yes" to three or more, it may be time to take a break and consider speaking to a professional.
Ask Yourself These Questions
Have you ever spent more time or money on gaming than you originally intended?
Have you gambled to escape worries, stress, or feelings of sadness?
Have you tried to win back money you've lost by continuing to play or increasing your bets?
Have you ever hidden your gaming activity or lied about how much you spend from people close to you?
Has gaming ever caused you to neglect work, school, family, or other important responsibilities?
Have you borrowed money or sold something to pay for gaming?
Do you feel restless or irritable when you try to cut down or stop gaming?
Has a family member or friend ever expressed concern about your gaming habits?
Three or more "yes" answers? This doesn't mean you're in crisis, but it's a signal worth paying attention to. Use JLevo's cool-off or self-exclusion tools, and consider talking to someone you trust or a professional counsellor.
Self-Exclusion at JLevo
If you've decided you need a longer break from gaming, JLevo's self-exclusion programme lets you close your access to the platform for a defined period. Self-exclusion is a serious tool designed for players who feel they need a firm boundary — and we fully support your decision to use it.
How to Self-Exclude
- Log in to your JLevo account and go to Account Settings.
- Select "Responsible Gaming" from the menu.
- Choose "Self-Exclusion" and select your preferred period: 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanent.
- Confirm your request. Exclusion takes effect within 24 hours.
Alternatively, you can request self-exclusion by emailing support@jlevo.best from your registered email address. Please include your full name, date of birth, and preferred exclusion period.
What Happens During Self-Exclusion
- Your account will be suspended and you will not be able to log in or place bets.
- Any remaining real-money balance (net of pending bonus wagering requirements) will be returned to your registered payment method.
- We will remove you from all marketing communications for the duration of your exclusion.
- If you attempt to create a new account during your exclusion period, it will be closed and any deposits returned.
Self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the minimum period ends. We do this on purpose — to give the tool its full protective effect. If you need support during your exclusion period, please reach out to our support team or the resources listed below.
JLevo stands with every Filipino player — giving you the tools and support to keep gaming a healthy part of life.
Protecting Minors
JLevo strictly prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from registering or participating in any gaming activity on our platform. This is both a legal requirement and a moral obligation we take very seriously.
All new accounts undergo age verification as part of our Know Your Customer (KYC) process. If we suspect that a registered player is under 21, the account will be suspended immediately pending verification. Any deposits made by underage players will be refunded, and winnings will be forfeited.
If You Share a Device or Household
If you share a computer, phone, or tablet with younger family members, please take these steps to prevent accidental access to gaming platforms:
- Always log out of your JLevo account when you're done playing.
- Use a strong, unique password that younger family members cannot guess.
- Enable parental control software on shared devices to filter gaming websites.
- Never share your login credentials with anyone, including family members.
- Consider using a separate device or browser profile for your JLevo account.
Support Resources for Filipino Players
You don't have to deal with gambling-related concerns alone. JLevo encourages all players who feel they may have a problem to seek professional help. Reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness.
JLevo Support
Our responsible gaming team is available seven days a week. Email support@jlevo.best and indicate that your message is about responsible gaming — we'll prioritise your request and connect you with the right support.
PAGCOR Responsible Gaming Programme
The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) operates a responsible gaming programme for licensed online gaming operators and their players. PAGCOR's Responsible Gaming programme promotes awareness and provides a framework for player protection across all licensed platforms in the Philippines.
Reaching Out to Loved Ones
Sometimes the most important step is having an honest conversation with someone you trust — a partner, a parent, a close friend. If you're not ready to speak to a professional yet, start there. Sabihin mo lang, "Kailangan ko ng tulong." That's enough to begin.
Tips for Healthy, Enjoyable Gaming
Whether you're new to JLevo or a seasoned player, these habits will help keep gaming fun and in its proper place in your life.
- Set a budget before you play. Decide exactly how much you can afford to spend — treat it like buying a movie ticket or a meal out. Once it's gone, the session is over.
- Set a time limit too. Use JLevo's session timer or simply set an alarm on your phone. It's easy to lose track of time when you're in the zone.
- Never chase your losses. Losing streaks are part of gaming. Chasing losses by increasing bets almost always makes things worse. Accept it and walk away.
- Take regular breaks. Step away every 30–60 minutes. Stretch, get a glass of water, check in with what's happening around you.
- Don't game when emotional. Stress, sadness, or frustration are bad states for decision-making. Gaming when you're emotionally raw usually leads to poor choices and regret.
- Balance gaming with other activities. Sports betting on PBA or NBA matches is great entertainment — but make sure gaming is just one of many things you enjoy.
- Keep it social but safe. Sharing gaming experiences with friends can be fun, but be mindful that social pressure doesn't push you to spend beyond your limits.
- Review your activity regularly. Check your transaction history every week. Seeing the numbers in black and white helps keep your spending honest.
